OZ-Optics introduces a new line of waveguide-based quantum polarization entangled photon sources that give the highest counts and coincidence rates available, distributed in either a narrow or broad spectral band. The design capitalizes on optical confinement within periodically poled nonlinear waveguides, to improve spontaneous parametric down-conversion efficiency. The source also takes advantage of a Sagnac all-in-fiber interferometer to establish maximum stability, bright and low-noise at room temperature, to enable quantum photonic applications.
