Jun 2023BEDFORD, N.H., June 28, 2023 — The IAL series of InGaAs avalanche photodiodes from Laser Components Inc. offer a Vbr-Vop of about 4 V, with gains of >20 with low-noise values.
The affordable detectors are primarily used in laser range finding applications and cover a wavelength range of 800 to 1700 nm, with peak sensitivity at 1550 nm. They have a quantum efficiency of 70% in the 1000- to 1600-nm range. The devices have a standard diameter of 200 µm, with options available for variations in size. They are available in hermetically sealed TO-46 packages or as surface mount devices in M6 packages, and a fiber-coupled version is also offered upon request.
