Iridian designs and manufactures custom wavelength selective optical filters between 300 nm to 15 µm, providing “more signal, less background” to applications employing remote sensing, detection, and imaging such as Earth observation, lidar, machine vision, M/LWIR gas detection. Filter profiles include single and multi bandpass filters, edge pass filters, single and multi-notch filters, and multi-zone filter arrays for multi-spectral imaging applications. Filter sizes range from <1 mm square to >150 mm in diameter.

Iridian works closely with customers, taking functional requirements of an application to create filters specs for design and manufacture that balance the technical and commercial needs of a system; from initial proto-types all the way through to volume manufacture (whether that is for one or one hundred thousand filters).
