The Chromatiq Spectral Engine^™ from Hamamatsu Photonics generates light with a highly specific spectral content to emulate real-world lighting conditions and other custom spectra to meet calibration and testing requirements. Using a plasma-based broadband laser driven light source, it is able to produce a high spectral resolution. The engine features a switching speed of <10 ms between programmed spectra, added near-infrared wavelength range of 380 to 1100 nm, and custom spectrum generation.
