MÉRIGNAC, France, Oct. 23, 2024 — Exosens has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Night Vision Laser Spain (NVLS), a developer and manufacturer of portable night vision and thermal devices. The acquisition will build on the company’s long-term development of multisensor platforms, said Exosens CEO Jérôme Cerisier. He said that the acquisition will also allow NVLS to develop its business in Spain, Latin America, and Asia

Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed and the transaction is expected to be finalized in the coming months.

NVLS, based in Spain with 63 employees, offers expertise in the field of man-portable night vision equipment. According to NVLS CEO Jorge de la Torre, the company has fostered a supplier relationship with Exosens Group, and uses Photonis image intensifier tubes in its product lines.

“We will continue to benefit from their extended sensors technology platform to develop a new generation of devices, bringing unrivaled performances to armed forces,” de la Torre said.

NVLS’ devices provide enhanced visibility for land and aviation missions, and the company’s devices have been introduced as the new standards within the Spanish Armed Forces, Customs Police, and Guardia Civil, the company said.

Exosens previously acquired LR Tech, a specialist developer and manufacturer of Fourier transform infrared devices, last month, and the group also recently entered into an agreement to acquire Centronic Limited.

Exosens' prior acquisitions of Telops, Proxivision, El-mul, and Xenics came while Exosens was operating under the brand name Photonis. The company rebranded as Exosens last year.
