Nov 2021BARRINGTON, N.J., Nov. 25, 2021 — NIR Detection YAGLASS-T Filters from Edmund Optics Inc. convert NIR light to visible light for high-power applications.
The nanocrystal doped glass filters emit visible light with as little as 30 mW/mm
2 of incident light at 1064 nm without blooming or pre-charging. The high transparency of the glass allows for beam size, shape, and mode to be easily viewed. They feature a high damage threshold of 51 J/cm
2 at 1064 nm and 10 ns, designed as an alternative to laser detection cards in high-power laser applications.
The filters are available in standard 12.5- and 25-mm diameter sizes.
