CoolLED’s Amora Series for custom microscopy illumination is based on an established portfolio of off-the-shelf products, adapted to offer unparalleled customization opportunities. This provides a fast, efficient, and low-risk solution, while also addressing the specific needs of each individual application.
Solid-state LED illumination offers superior control of microscopy illumination. This includes Sequence Runner, a cost-effective approach for powerful automated fluorescence imaging. By triggering user-defined illumination sequences with a single TTL-out signal available on most scientific cameras, dynamic events can be captured with minimal equipment and at speeds of up to 7 µs. This significantly speeds up acquisition times for high content screening applications, while precisely synchronizing illumination with the camera exposure also enhances data quality by minimizing photo damage.
Experts in the generation and delivery of LED illumination, CoolLED launched the first LED light source for fluorescence microscopy in 2006. Since then it has developed a diverse range of illumination systems to suit the most popular applications, although original equipment manufacturers often have specific requirements.
The Amora Series serves the needs of those looking for custom microscopy illumination. It draws from the strengths of CoolLED’s popular off-the-shelf products and offers the flexibility to choose anywhere between two and eight LED channels.
