IDENT Sensor for Optical Identification of 1D, 2D, and DMS Codes

Balluff - IDENT Sensor for Optical Identification of 1D, 2D, and DMS CodesBalluff's new IDENT sensor is the first code reader on the market to offer IO-Link, allowing users to integrate code reading without separate Ethernet drops and IP addresses for every reader. This stationary sensor was designed to precisely read barcodes, 2D codes, and Direct part marked codes using the MVTec HALCON algorithm, while integrated code quality metrics allow it to provide a code quality grade in addition to the code data.

In addition to code reading functions, the IDENT sensor offers built-in advanced condition monitoring capabilities. It can monitor:
  • Temperature
  • Vibration
  • Humidity
  • Inclination
  • Signal quality
  • Operating time

Additional features:
  • Working distance 50 … 600 mm
  • IP67
  • White/red light and white/infrared light versions available
  • Easy one-button set-up
