Freeform Computer-Generated Hologram (CGH) Metrology Demo

In this video, we explore how an AOM CGH (computer-generated hologram) coupled with our metrology platform enables testing for a freeform optic. The metrology platform provides a mount for a test optic that simulates the mechanics that the part was designed to be mounted to, while the CGH targets the datums of the platform, enabling a transfer of optical to mechanical part datums. See how mechanical and optical features interact with a CGH to make alignment quick and easy and enable snapshot measurements of aspheres and freeforms.
