FARMINGTON, Conn. —
Kartik Vaidyanathan Iyer is director of the TRUMPF Smart Factory in Hoffman Estates, Ill. The appointment was effective May 1. Iyer, former president and CEO of Metamotion Inc, joined TRUMPF Inc. as head of the software division for North America in 2019. In his new role he will be responsible for the operation and continuous development of the TRUMPF Smart Factory.
