A new product family of broadband Photonic Crystal Fibers (PCFs) is launched by Schäfter+Kirchhoff. PCFs outperform conventional step-index fibers due to their enormous bandwidth and large MFD, especially for high-power applications in the shortwave range. They cover a wavelength range from 370 to 1200 nm, are available as single-mode or PM, and have an approx. Gaussian beam profile.
