May 2025BELLINGHAM, Wash., May 28, 2025 — Jasper Stackawitz has been awarded the 2025 Teddi C. Laurin Scholarship by SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, for potential contributions to optics, photonics, or a related field.
Stackawitz is a junior at Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills, Pa. He began his research in photonics at Ursinus College with Casey Schwarz, Ph.D., focusing on the fabrication and properties of thin Sb
