AMS Technologies Makes Changes to Leadership Team: People in the News: 5/14/25

May 2025JENA, Germany, May 14, 2025 — President and CEO of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG,
Markus Weber, informed the company’s supervisory board that he will leave the company, effective May 31. The board appointed
Maximilian Foerst as his replacement. Foerst has served as head of ZEISS Greater China since 2009 and headed the ZEISS Group’s sales and service companies in Korea and France prior. Weber joined ZEISS as a research scientist at Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology in 2002 and held a variety of management roles before being appointed president and CEO in 2022.

MARTINSRIED, Germany — Optics solutions provider and distributor AMS Technologies has made changes to its leadership team in order to expand its distribution business, the company said.
Maik Frede has been appointed vice president of engineering, with
Michael Lee set to become vice president of sales upon the retirement of
Klaus Maier. The company also appointed
Tomasz Stefanczyk director of digital transformation and promoted
Christoph Schelzke to vice president of operations.

Yvette Pagano executive director of the association. Pagano originally joined APOMA as a consultant, and she currently serves as the founder of YP Strategies LLC. She previously served as CCO of GenTech Scientific LLC and CEO of CAR Engineering and Manufacturing.
BOZEMAN, Mont. — Bridger Photonics, a methane emissions detection company, appointed
Ryan Sullivan CTO, with founding CTO,
Mike Thorpe, transitioning to the role of chief scientist. Sullivan brings over two decades of experience to the role, with prior experience as a limited partner at Range Ventures and as CTO of Angi.
HOBOKEN, N.J. — Integrated photonics and quantum optics technology company Quantum Computing Inc. appointed
Milan Begliarbekov COO and
Pouya Dianat chief revenue officer. Begliarbekov brings more than 13 years of experience in nanofabrication, materials science, and scientific leadership, having most recently been the director of quantum foundry at the company. Dianat was previously the company's director of photonic integrated circuits and foundry services, and served as a market expert and technical director at Optica.
