Super-polished substrates or mirrors are essential for some demanding applications such as laser gyroscopes, deep-UV lasers and femtoline lasers, etc. Shalom EO has matured a double-surface super-polishing technique to endow the mirrors or substrates with extra-low roughness (<1 Angstrom). Various substrate materials are available: BK7, fused silica, Zerodur, sapphire, ZnSe, ZnS, Ge, CaF2, etc.
