The MidOpt PR1000 Visible (VIS) / Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) Linear Polarizer Filter is effective in both the VIS and near-infrared (IR) ranging from 400-2000nm. It eliminates glare, has an average contrast ratio of 8,000:1 and has an operating temperature rating of 115° C per 240 hours. To maximize glare reduction, use the PR1000 in combination with the PS1000 near-IR (NIR) Linear Polarizer Film over the illuminating light source. The PR1000 has a locking thumb screw, offering flexibility and ease of use. Once it's locked into place, it will not vibrate during use or be accidentally moved during cleaning. The PR1000 is anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss and is oleophobic coated to prevent finger print smudging and to keep oil and other solvents from collecting on the lens in a wide range of machine vision applications where environmental conditions can cause imaging problems.
