High power thin-film plate polarizers are intended for use at the Brewster angle of incidence. The natural polarization which takes place at this angle is enhanced by the deposition of a coating to separate the s and p peak transmittance. Provides a high extinction ratio of 200:1 and are suitable for high power use.
