Our IR blocker coatings are deposited on quartz glass substrates and selectively filter ultraviolet energy from the source, while blocking unwanted visible and infrared energy. IR blockers are placed in front of a UV lamp source and function as a hot mirror, thus keeping the UV system cool by protecting heat-sensitive materials, lamps and reflectors from ink evaporants.
