Provides precise fiber stretching, delivering up to 16 µm stretch for 9 meters of fiber from DC to 10 kHz, tapering off to 0 at 100 kHz. Uses piezo wafers elastically mounted on an oval form to stretch the fiber exclusively on the straight section, preventing bend-induced cross-coupling in polarization-maintaining (PM) fibers. Ideal for thermal stability in fiber optic interferometers and signal detection systems, it is available with PM or single-mode (SM) fiber and includes a driver card. This fiber stretcher can be seamlessly integrated with other fiber splitter products for splice-free arrangements.
