This product uses x-ray scanning to recreate a 3D model without destroying the original object. It is x-ray imaging in 3D, by the same method used in hospital CT scans but on a small scale with massively increased resolution. The very fine scale internal structure of objects can be studied nondestructively, and can image samples with submicron resolution or scan objects up to 200 mm or more in diameter.
