Lasers with emission wavelengths longer than 1.4 μm are often called “eye-safe”. Hangzhou Shalom EO has developed the 1535nm eye-safe pulsed laser modules using a single laser diode at 940nm to end-pump a Er, Yb:Glass gain media. The laser modules produce nanosecond level pulses at a repetition rate from single shot to 10 Hz, being exquisite to laser range finders, LIDAR and medical treatments.
