The MidOpt BP610 Green-Red Bandpass Filter is recommended for use with 520-690nm red LED and laser diode lighting. This filter transmits green and red wavelengths while blocking UV (ultraviolet), blue and near-IR (infrared) light, making it ideal for applications requiring ambient light control and enhanced contrast. Orange in color, the BP610 also performs similarly to a hot mirror with added blue light-blocking capabilities and can be used in certain polarized light setups or to suppress stray light from UV and blue LEDs. MidOpt Bandpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness, are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss and have StablEDGE technology to reduce angular dependency and minimize the effects of short-shifting.
