The F-141 cost-optimized photonics alignment system is a state-of-the-art solution designed to deliver exceptional speed and precision for photonic component alignment. This system is ideal for array alignment in photonic applications, offering unparalleled efficiency and performance.
The F-141 is available in both single- and dual-sided configurations, providing flexibility to meet diverse application requirements. It features a compact, integrated 4-DOF/6-DOF photonics scan and alignment system, which is engineered for high dynamics and duty cycles. For additional customization, 2-axis and 3-axis configurations are also available.
The system's optimized moving platform ensures convenient mounting with a minimal lever arm, enabling direct optical probe alignment. This design minimizes setup complexities while enhancing operational precision. Embedded with PI’s proprietary alignment algorithms, the F-141 delivers industry-leading alignment speeds, boasting up to 100 times faster performance compared to traditional systems.
To support advanced operations, the F-141 incorporates an EtherCAT
® control system with a computationally optimized master processor. This setup enables rapid signal analysis and onboard machine learning capabilities, ensuring accurate and efficient alignment processes. The system offers a generous 40-mm XYZ travel range and a 12° Theta-Y rotation range. An optional manually adjustable Theta-X/Z base provides an additional 5° travel for greater adaptability.
With a load capacity of 1 kg and a compact overall size of 115 mm (W) × 175 mm (L) × 105 mm (H), the F-141 is an ideal choice for space-constrained environments. Its innovative features make it a reliable and cost-effective solution for advanced photonics alignment needs.
