M-235, L-220, and M-230 series linear actuators from PI are designed for tasks requiring sub-micron precision in optics, photonics, semiconductor testing, metrology, and microscopy. The actuators have travel ranges from 10-77 mm and feed forces up to 125 N. The actuators reach speeds up to 30 mm/sec and achieve minimum incremental motion down to 0.05 µm. Engineered for continuous operation, the actuators offer a mean time between failures of <20,000 h and can withstand frequent load changes.
