The Hybrid FORMTRACER Avant FTA-H3000 Detector is a measuring system from Mitutoyo that can be added to other Mitutoyo FTA series equipment to provide contour and roughness measurements using retrofittable detectors without having to purchase and install an entirely new system. Its hybrid H-3000 detector records full contour and surface-roughness data simultaneously, leveraging a wide 16-mm Z-range, high-resolution arc scale, and a cable-free ±45° inclinable drive unit to handle complex, multiangled parts without refixturing.
