The Ophir SupIR-X 15-300 mm f/4 high resolution mid-wave infrared (MIR) zoom lens from MKS is designed for 10-µm super-extended graphics array detectors, providing clarity, precision, and operational reach for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions across air, land, and sea. The lens delivers low distortion, line-of-sight stability, and boresight retention. It is compatible with the Ophir extender ecosystem, scaling up to 1200-mm focal length, extending detection ranges beyond 26 km for vehicle targets while maintaining a constant f/4 aperture.
