The LumiBright Enhanced 5-mm Aperture UV Compact Multispectral Light Engine from Innovations in Optics delivers radiant power for UV curing, photolithography, fiber optic coupling, machine vision, and fluorescence excitation. Total Drive Current is 22 A for 14 die. The engine has <10% change over 8000 h with more output power compared to a 7-die array. The engine functions within the spectral range of UV-VIS-NIR. The output uses a patented internal reflective aperture “breaking the etendue barrier,” which also enables longer lifetime via lower drive current per die. The patented primary optics are non-imaging concentrators with high collection efficiency and compact form. The resulting homogenous beam requires no additional optics.
