Dec 2024MARLBOROUGH, Mass., Dec. 16, 2024 — The YLR-AMB series from IPG Photonics are dual-beam fiber lasers specifically designed for additive manufacturing applications. The lasers can achieve build rates exceeding 324 cm^³/h with >99.9% density on materials such as Ti-6Al-4V and CuCr1Zr and both single- and multimode outputs combine for total power up to 4 kW. The YLR-AMB series’ center and ring modes can be adjusted independently for optimized heat distribution and feature a 482.6-mm rack-mountable form factor.
