The ORCA-Quest IQ from Hamamatsu Photonics is a quantum CMOS (qCMOS) camera for quantitative imaging in adaptive optics and quantum technology, as well as superresolution microscopy. It has an added Camera Link output for data transfer with low noise performance. The qCMOS camera delivers 9.4 MP with a 4096 × 2304-pixel resolution for crystal-clear imaging. The ORCA-Quest IQ achieves a peak quantum efficiency of 85% at 460 nm, offering superior sensitivity. It has a minimum readout noise of 0.3 electrons root mean squared (rms) and a robust dynamic range of 23,000:1 (rms). The qCMOS camera is equipped with flexible external trigger input modes and a software trigger mechanism, catering to diverse experimental setups.
