The C30683 Series from Excelitas Technologies is a silicon avalanche photodiode (APD) with a discrete transimpedance amplifier for a range of photon detection applications such as lidar, range finding, and laser meters. Hermetically sealed within a TO-8 package, the APD delivers a spectral response from 400 to 1100 nm with a bandwidth of up to 400 MHz and features a 500-µm active area.
