The pco.edge 9.4 bi CLHS from Excelitas Technologies is a sCMOS camera for microscopy, life sciences, and physical sciences applications such as lightsheet fluorescence microscopy, structured illumination microscopy, HDR imaging, and polarization studies. Combining photon counting sensitivity and a large image circle, the camera’s sensor incorporates microlenses and a full pixel height deep trench isolation for crosstalk suppression resulting in an improved modulation transfer function. The pco.edge 9.4 bi CLHS features a high-resolution 9.4-MP image sensor with a square pixel size of 4.6 µm, 30% quantum efficiency at 900 nm, a 21.6-mm image circle, and a transmission speed of 4.9 Gbps.
