The UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA) and the British Automation & Robot Association (BARA) are establishing a dedicated trade show to spotlight the technologies prevalent in the sectors that each supports. The two-day event is designed for businesses operating in the automation and robotics markets.

Automation UK will debut June 20, 2023, at CBS Arena in Coventry, England. The annual UKIVA Machine Vision Conference (MVC) and Exhibition will be co-located at CBS Arena.

In a press release, the associations, both of which are part of the Processing and Packaging Machinery Association group, said Automation UK will feature products and services, as well as live machine demonstrations. The exhibition’s scope will target stakeholders from across the industrial spectrum including manufacturing, retail/consumer, automotive, electronics, aerospace and maritime, food and beverage, and logistics. Exhibitors will span sectors including sensors and sensor integrated systems, automated assembly machines and systems, robots/robotic systems, machine safety, and system integrators.

“Automation UK and MVC will be the largest annual event in the U.K. to showcase leading robotic and vision suppliers,” said Mark Stepney, managing director of Schubert UK and a PPMA board member. “Aside from being able to view live demonstrations of the latest machines, talk to exhibitors face-to-face, and gain the latest market intelligence from industry experts, we have a very competitive show for exhibitors and one we believe they will find very attractive, not least because the show is open to all suppliers and prospective purchasers.”

Automation UK and the UKIVA MVS run June 20-21, 2023.
