OSLO, Norway, May 19, 2023 — Pickit3D and Zivid have established a strategic partnership to jointly address the growing automation needs of the automotive industry. The partnership aims to leverage the companies’ combined expertise to deliver innovative 3D vision solutions for worldwide automotive manufacturers.

Pickit3D is specialized in 3D robot automation, with technology designed to address applications including bin picking, depalletization, surface finishing, and assembly. Zivid is a developer of 3D vision camera technology.

Within the framework of this partnership, Pickit3D and Zivid will jointly develop bin picking, assembly, surface finishing, and inspection solutions. The partnership also aims to accelerate the adoption of 3D vision Industry 4.0 technologies.
