Optical Gaging Products Appoints President of Global Sales: People In the News: 12/17/25
ROCHESTER, N.Y., Dec. 17, 2025 — Optical Gaging Products (OGP), a manufacturer of metrology systems, appointed Panos Angelopoulos president of global sales, succeeding Stephen Flynn, who is retiring after 31 years with the company. Angelopoulos brings more than 30 years of experience in executive leadership roles within industrial and commercial manufacturing environments. He joins OGP from RAMPF Group, where he served as business unit manager. Before that, he was president, CEO, and owner of Cleveland Polymer Technologies, which joined the RAMPF Group in 2017.

DENVER — Artemis Vision, a machine vision company, added John Jennings to its board of directors. Jennings most recently served as managing director and CCO at Basler. He will be focused on helping Artemis Vision further its growth, with particular focus on the incoming/outgoing goods market with its RaPTr (rapid pellet tracker) product for vision-based scan verification.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Focused Energy, a laser energy company, appointed Debbie Callahan chief strategic officer and Omar Biabani CTO. Callahan worked on the laser fusion breakthrough achieved at the National Ignition Facility in December 2022. As chief strategic officer, she will focus on converting scientific advances at Focused Energy into industrial applications. Biabani previously served as vice president of product development at ASML and brings extensive experience in scaling complex technologies for industrial deployment.
SAN JOSE, Calif. — Lumentum added Thad Trent to the company's board of directors. Trent is a finance professional with extensive leadership and management experience at a variety of complex, global public companies. He currently serves as executive vice president and CFO of onsemi, a role he has held since February 2021. Before onsemi, Trent was the CFO of Cypress Semiconductor Corporation. His career history includes progressive finance leadership roles at companies such as Wind River Systems and Wyle Electronics.
REDMOND, Wash. — Lumotive, an optical semiconductor company, appointed Tristan Joo executive vice president of global business and Hassan Moussa vice president of customer engineering and general manager of Lumotive Oman. Joo has more than 20 years of experience in optical semiconductors and commercialization, with companies including ams OSRAM, OFILM, and poLight. Moussa previously led Valeo's lidar program and has more than 20 years of experience in automotive sensing and Tier-1 system integration.
