Helmee Imaging Partners with Roth Technik AG
TAMPERE, Finland, Sept. 19, 2024 — Helmee Imaging Oy, part of Hexagon, has partnered with precision engineering and automation company Roth Technik AG. The partnership, covering the European, Middle Eastern, African, and North American markets, combines Roth Technik AG’s expertise in high-precision intelligent automation solutions with Hexagon’s capabilities in surface quality control and digital manufacturing to offer a suite of solutions designed to meet the demands of industries including automotive and advanced manufacturing.
Helmee Imaging, acquired by Hexagon earlier this year, is the developer of a stereo deflectometry technology. This technology is used to inspect glossy, mirror-like objects, offering simultaneous inspection of the surface properties and the 3D shape of the object. Roth Technik AG provides engineering services and custom automation solutions. It also provides development and installation of collaborative robots, modular automation systems, end of arm tooling, and linear axes, among other systems.
