The partnership integrates Headwall’s high-performance hyperspectral imaging systems with GRYFN’s advanced software and calibration technologies to provide complete and easy-to-use solution for research-grade remote sensing. The combination simplifies data acquisition, processing, and analysis while maintaining accuracy and reliability.

As part of the agreement, Headwall will offer the GRYFN Processing Tool, a software solution that integrates unmanned aerial vehicle-based hyperspectral, lidar, and global navigation satellite system (GNSS) data. This tool streamlines job management, automates workflows, and enables efficient multi-modal data processing. Additionally, GRYFN’s geometric calibration technology eliminates the need for ground control points by specifying sensor parameters, optical characteristics, and platform positioning, ensuring unmatched precision for multi-temporal analytics.

Glossary
remote sensing
Remote sensing is a method of data collection and observation where information about objects, areas, or phenomena on Earth's surface is gathered from a distance, typically using sensors onboard satellites, aircraft, drones, or other platforms. This technique enables the monitoring and analysis of Earth's surface and atmosphere without direct physical contact. Remote sensing systems capture electromagnetic radiation (such as visible light, infrared, microwave, or radio waves) reflected or...
