Flir, ING to Create Aerial IR Inspection Methods

OTTAWA, Ontario, Canada April 18, 2014 — Flir Systems Canada is partnering with ING Robotic Aviation to develop robotic aircraft and new techniques for infrared inspections.

The new technology will allow for aerial industrial infrared inspections and visual gas leak detection. With Flir cameras and gas detection filters, hydrocarbon gas leaks will be detectible.

Related information and data gathered will also be more efficiently and comprehensively analyzed using Flir software and advanced imaging techniques.
