Philips ETG, OTM Technologies Push Laser Sensor Technology

HERZLIYA, Israel, July 17 -- OTM Technologies Ltd and Philips Enabling Technologies Group are cooperating on the design and high-volume mastering of optical precision components for OTM Technologies' OTM devices, including the LaserPoint product line.
The Optical and Plastics division of Philips Enabling Technologies Group is contributing its advanced engineering technology to the design and manufacture of OTM Technologies' OTM sensors. The Laser Point and Virtual Pen are the first OTM Technologies products to be embedded with an OTM sensor. OTM Technologies' Laser Point is an optical navigation and control device that provides improved performance over existing cursor control solutions in mobile handsets, PDAs or laptops.
