Uniroyal Names Miller to Head Optoelectronics Unit

SARASOTA, Fla., June 28 -- Uniroyal Technology Corp. has named David C. Miller, as president of its Optoelectronics business segment. Uniroyal Optoelectronics manufactures high brightness light emitting diodes (LEDs) at its facility in Tampa, Florida.
Prior to joining Uniroyal, Miller served as president of the Airtron Div. of Litton Systems. He began his career at the General Electric Research Laboratories in Schenectady, NY.
Uniroyal Technology's Compound Semiconductors & Optoelectronics business segment includes Uniroyal Optoelectronics, Sterling Semiconductor, Inc., and NorLux Corp.
