ISO certification quality assurance certification is recognized world wide as verification that a company's processes consistently meet the highest standards for producing quality products.
Applied Micro Circuits Corp., Switching and Network Processing Group announced a highly integrated single-chip solution for multigigabit packet processing in service provider applications. The nP3404, packaged in a 596-pin EDHS BGA, is currently sampling. The device is priced at $170 in volume quantities.
Emcore Corp. announced that they are on target to achieve their sixth consecutive quarter of record revenues, as new materials technologies are introduced to enable next generation devices. Emcore has expanded its production technology offerings with the addition of the Enterprise 300LDM for datacom and telecom applications and the Enterprise 450 series for wireless communications and solid state lighting applications.
