HighWave and OptiMight Enter Long Term Partnership

LANNION, France, June 15 -- HighWave Optical Technologies, a manufacture of telecommunications components and subsystems, and OptiMight Communications, a manufacturer of next-generation WDM systems for ultra-long reach transmission and optical networking, announce today a long-term manufacturing agreement for the creation of Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFAs) and integrated EDFA solutions for the optical transport market.

    The partnership combines HighWave's EDFA technology with OptiMight's optical fiber electronics expertise in the creation of new turnkey solutions for the optical fiber market.
