Phase One A/S to Use Kodak's 16-Megapixel CCD in LightPhase H20 Digital Camera Back

ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 1 -- Eastman Kodak Co. announced that Phase One A/S, a provider of Direct Digital Imaging, has selected Kodak's KAF-16801CE 16-megapixel CCD image sensor for use in its upcoming LightPhase H20 digital camera back.
    The Phase One LightPhase H20 is a high-resolution, 16-million pixel single-shot direct digital imaging system designed for use in high-end professional imaging applications. The KAF-16801 is designed to meet the demanding requirements of the studio and high-end digital camera marketplace, said Eastman Kodak. Its 16.6 million (4080 x 4080) pixel array represents a sizeable leap in CCD resolution.
