Vanessa Wittman, who -- as vice president of corporate investments and acquisitions at 360networks -- played a key role in the acquisitions of GlobeNet Communications and NetRail Inc., has moved up the corporate ladder. She will now fill the role of chief financial officer in charge of the telecommunications company's financial strategy, planning, funding, assets, budgeting and reporting.
Alex Austin has joined Key Technology Inc., a designer and manufacturer of process automation systems that integrate electro-optical inspection, conveying and processing equipment, as regional manager for Australia and New Zealand. Austin is responsible for sales and client relationships throughout the region.
