Accent Announces Novalux Order

BEND, Ore., April 16 -- Accent Optical Technologies said that it has shipped a complete suite of process control systems to Novalux Inc., a fiber optics laser component company. The order will be used in Novalux's recently opened class 10 clean room for processing 4-inch GaAs wafers for photonic applications.
"Accent's strategy of offering a complete product suite of optoelectronic process control systems is being rewarded with outstanding industry acceptance," said Bruce Rhine, president, chairman and CEO of Accent. "In order to keep up with significant increases in customer orders due to the strong growth in the wireless and optoelectronic industries, we are ramping up production 400 percent over the next six months."
