OMM founder Anis Husain will present an invited talk at the Optical Fiber Conference (OFC) 2001 at 4 p.m. on March 21 in the Anaheim, Calif., Convention Center, Ballroom D. The 30-minute presentation will be on the topic: "Photonic MEMS Switching Subsystems, Field Trials to Volume Production."
   EXFO Electro-Optical Engineering Inc. will launch the new NR-9200HR Optical Fiber Analyzer at OFC 2001 next week.
   LaserComm announced that it will demonstrate the industry's first full slope-matched, broadband solution for chromatic dispersion for all types of non-zero dispersion-shifted fibers. LaserComm will demonstrate the performance of its Hi-Mode DMD dispersion management devices at OFC 2001 from March 17-22.
   Artis Software invites OFC 2001 attendees to visit them at booth #860, Hall B, at the Anaheim Convention Center, and get an introduction to the ARTIS Network Design Environment.
   Telephotonics Inc., a supplier of integrated optical components for DWDM systems, named William N. Giudice as president, CEO and chairman of the board of directors. Mr. Giudice was most recently co-founder, president, CEO and chairman of Maker Communications Inc.
