SI Diamond Expands HyFED Development Team

AUSTIN, Texas, March 13 -- SI Diamond Technology Inc. said that -- through its subsidiary, Field Emission Picture Element Technology Inc. (FEPET) -- it is starting Phase II of its international HyFED development team project. During Phase I the original team developed a 4-inch monochrome prototype.
The new team is made up of companies that will combine their expertise to develop a proof of concept of a full color, 4-inch diagonal HyFED display as a precursor to a 60-inch diagonal flat cathode ray tube (CRT).
The team now consists of 12 companies specializing in the field of CRT component manufacturing and CRT development. The team includes companies from Asia, Europe and North America.
