Lambda Physik AG to be in the Nemax 50

GOTTINGEN, Germany, Feb. 22 -- Lambda Physik AG, supplier of pulsed UV lasers, will be included in the Nemax 50 with effect from March 19, 2001. The management board of Deutsche Borse AG took this decision last week following the recommendation of the share indices committee. Lambda Phsik has been listed on the "Neuer Markt" at The Frankfurt Stock Exchange since September 2000 and generated sales of EUR 100.2 million in the 2000 fiscal year, which ended on September 30.
"We are delighted that the positive economic development of the company has led to inclusion in the index of the 50 most important shares at the Neuer Markt so soon after our stock market flotation," said Dirk Basting, president and CEO of Lambda Physik. "We hope that this development will increase the value of the Lambda Physik share to our shareholders even more."
