Semiconductor Laser International Invests in Intuitive ERP

BINGHAMTON, N.Y., Nov. 27 -- Semiconductor Laser International Corp. has acquired a software license from Intuitive Manufacturing Systems, providers of integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for small and mid-sized manufacturers. The license, for Intuitive ERP, will allow Semiconductor Laser International to better its resource management of manufactured diode laser products by furnishing better scheduling, planning, and cost accounting solutions, the company said. The system will be fully deployed by the first half of next year, said Semiconductor Laser International. Semiconductor Laser International manufactures high-powered semiconductor diode lasers.
