Melles Griot Canada Hires New GM

NEPEAN, Ontario, Canada, Nov. 14 -- Melles Griot has named Richard Williams as the new GM of the Melles Griot Canadian operation. Williams is no stranger to the company, having worked at Melles Griot for the last fourteen years, his most recent position being the Canadian division's head of daily operations, administration and sales. As the company's new GM, Williams will work to expand the Canadian business in support of the Melles Griot vision, the company said.

Williams' résumé includes working as a sale representative for Spectra Physics and Balzers Thin Films in the Canadian market place. Williams holds a bachelor's degree in physics from McMaster University. Melles Griot has offices in Ontario and British Columbia serving the expanding Canadian photonics and telecommunications industries.
