FDA Approves Asclepion Laser

JENA, Germany, Oct. 12 -- Asclepion-Meditec AG, a German developer and manufacturer of laser systems for the medical industry, has gotten the ok from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to market the Multipulse aesthetic laser.
The Multipulse laser will be geared toward the US cosmetic treatment market, but can also be used in gynecology, ear-nose-throat surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology (eyelid surgery) and urology, the company said.
Together with our top product MeDioStar diode laser for hair removal, this system can now be marketed in the United States by our successful partner US Medical, said Bernhard Seitz, CEO of Asclepion-Meditec.
