Internet Cable Corp., SilCom Technology to Install Wireless Net

WEST CHESTER, Pa., Sept. 20 -- Internet Cable Corp. will team-up with SilCom Technology to provide SimStar Internet Solutions with a wireless, laser communications network. The project will combine Internet Cable's wireless network integration and outsourcing services with SilCom's Freespace laser link family of building-to-building wireless connectivity products. The undertaking will result in a wireless wide area network (WAN) that connects two of SimStar's office locations in Princeton, N.J., via laser technology. The wireless WAN supplies 100 Mb bandwidth speeds between locations, permitting greater performance of WAN-based business applications, and lowering telecommunications and related infrastructure costs. SimStar is a provider of Internet solutions for healthcare companies.
